I’m so happy to be hosting TGIFF this week and to be showing off two of my latest finishes!
First up is my Wonky Hearts quilt. This was a UFO that had been sitting around since April 2022, so it feels great to finally have it finished and crossed off my list.

I made the blocks several years ago, so all I had to do was sew them together and add a small border and quilt it.
Since the blocks are all wonky hearts, I quilted it with a quick, all-over heart swirl meander, which felt like the perfect fit.
The quilting really pops against the blue backing, which makes all that texture stand out beautifully.

Next up is a project that started as an idea I’d been playing around with for a while, My Shifting Chevron quilt.
It wanted a quick quilt that looked cool and could be a "go to" in case I needed a baby or kid gift in a hurry and this Shifting Chevron idea kept rumbling around in my mind.
I finally set aside some time to work on it and it felt so good to bring it to life. The quilt top came together super quickly, which is what I was hoping for.

I did spend a bit more time on the quilting, adding some custom details within each of the chevrons.
That said, you could easily finish this one even faster with a simple all-over design.
The top was so fast to make I made three more in different color ways.
