This month Island Batik Ambassadors were challenged to decorate a mini Oliso Iron Carry Bag that fits the M3Pro Mini Iron. This M3Pro is my new favorite Iron. I use it all the time. Even for my long seams. It's the perfect size for my hand and doesn't get too heavy.
I started my project with a blank bag, some Wonder Under, a few Island Batik Flutter Wings scraps and some printed swirls and paisley shapes to use as my templates.
I fused the wonder under to the back of my Island Batik Scraps and taped my shapes on top and cut them out. It was faster than tracing them on the wonder under that way.
I fiddled around with different layout and came up with what you see now.
I decorated each side similar yet different
These Flutter Wings scraps from Island Batik match perfect with the orange zipper and orange stitching on the caddy.
I found places to use all the shapes I cut out
Even on the inside of the caddy.
I like how there is an opening at the front of the caddy for the silicon mat to poke out.
Now I am all spiffied up for traveling with my mini iron!
