Sunflower Spice Blog Hop

Welcome to day eight of the Sunflower Spice Blog Hop!

When Jennifer of Curliecue Creations asked me to help show off her signature fabric collection by Island Batik I was super happy to help!

She graciously sent me some of the prints from the fabric line and Lumin Fabrics sent the background fabric.

The line has twenty prints and I played with almost all of them.
I had a good sampling of cool and warm prints.

I made the quilt using two different blocks.  A warm centered block.

And a cool centered block.  I added some strips and triangles to the corners of each to create hour glass blocks between the main blocks.

Sunflower Spice is a fun fabric line to play with.

Fun bright colors, right up my alley!

And a quick swirly meander quilting helped the quilting finish up super fast.

My main blocks are eight inches finished so with the borders, the quilt measures about 62 x 46.

Below is the full list of bloggers who have shared they Sunflower spice creations or are ready to share in the next two days. Be sure to check them out!  And check out Jennifer's post on June 1st for a chance to win a bundle of this fabric for your self!!
